Une note d'auteur

I started to grass dance when I was young. I remember that I taught myself by watching other people dance at powwows. My family and I would go to powwows and other ceremonies that mean a lot to our traditional beliefs. Grass dancing is an important part of my life. In this piece of art I have drawn myself to show how I love to dance. When I grass dance I feel proud and happy that I am here on Earth, dancing for everyone.
